Become a part of a creative small business! Write Pretty for Me is looking to hire a part-time studio assistant who can help with day-to-day tasks, project management, product research, social media, and so much more. Our ideal candidate is someone who’s a go-getter, excellent communicator, creative, is positive and up-beat, is able to manage themselves, and is looking to grow with a creative small business.
We’re looking for someone that can work 20-30 hours per week, 4-5 days a week. This position can be remote, but local candidates will have the opportunity for hands-on work in our Hoboken, NJ studio.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responding to new inquiries and email management
Scheduling client meetings and phone calls
Creating and sending client proposals
Managing current projects and clients
Social media engagement, content planning and post creation
Website updates
Inventory management
We’re looking for someone who:
shows strong attention to detail
is extremely organized
is great with time management and able to prioritize multiple projects with short and long-term deadlines
can easily shift from task to task throughout the day and is able to adapt to new tasks as they present themselves
has a positive attitude
is a go-getter / self-starter
is able to manage oneself, but is not afraid to ask for help
is a problem solver and a quick learner
is eager and willing to learn the ins and outs of running a small business
is looking to grow with a small creative, woman-owned business
Skills:
excellent written and verbal communication
proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Calendar, etc.)
knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok and their features
ability to focus and be on the computer for extended periods of time
creative thinker who is able and excited to bring new ideas to the table
interested in working in a small creative business with a focus on the wedding industry
familiarity with SquareSpace is a plus
knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and design skills are a plus
knowledge of task management systems such as ClickUp and Trello are a plus
