First, your welcome sign is a great place to add some personality to your wedding to your wedding decor. Incorporating your own names, wedding date, quote (or an inside joke) will make your sign unique and special to you and your partner. It is a great way to start off your wedding and set the tone for the day. What better way to show your love than with a sign that reflects both of your personalities? Plus – you can repurpose it and hang it in your home after your wedding day.
One of the best ways to add a personal touch to your wedding decor is a fun bar sign or signature cocktail sign. Not only can these signs provide a unique decorative element, but they also give your guests something to talk about. You can name your cocktails based on your favorite drinks, cities you love, or even your fur baby. This allows you to incorporate your unique personality and style into your big day in a small but impactful way. Every guest will see it at some point during the night, making it an easy way to add a special touch to your wedding celebration.
When looking to add personal touches to your wedding, consider your table numbers. Table numbers don’t have to be boring (or “just” pretty)! Instead of traditional table numbers, consider using a theme that feels special to both of you. It can be your favorite books, bucket list travel destinations, cities or national parks you’ve visited together – the sky is truly the limit! This really does add an extra layer of meaningfulness to your special day.

While considering the tables for your event, don’t overlook the power of place cards. While it might not be the most personal touch for you and your spouse-to-be, your guests will be delighted – I can promise you that. As a wedding calligrapher, place cards are a small detail that can make a big impact and show your guests that you appreciate them. It’s a unique way to show your guests that you care and put extra effort into making them feel special.
Last but not least, adding calligraphy in unexpected places catches your guests off guard and adds an element of surprise and FUN on your wedding day. Bathroom mirrors have been one of my favorite wedding day elements to include in wedding calligraphy packages lately. I love the rave reviews from guests because most of the time, they haven’t seen THAT before!
